I saw another company offering something similar for a more affordable cost. Why should I choose Reminisart?

Many sites allow you to upload pictures and print them. But a Reminisart collage is different: it is an image-based sensory tool specifically designed to foster deeper connections for loved ones in care.

Our large format prints are highly visible so that care teams can see many details at a glance. Captions allow visitors to learn even more about your loved one. Our backgrounds offer another opportunity to incorporate imagery that's meaningful to your loved one. And we optimize your photos so they look good when printed large, arranging them in a way that honours your loved one’s extraordinary life.

We delight in the striking, personalized works of art we create. We know you and your loved one will too.

Why are Reminisart collages printed on vinyl?

For the sizes of collages we provide, traditional paper options are expensive, difficult to hang, and not permitted in long term care settings. The medical-grade vinyl we use is affordable, safe, easy to clean, and easy to install without specialized tools. Our vinyl collages can also be moved and reapplied several times if your loved one needs to relocate.

When should I get a framed paper print instead?

Vinyl does not apply to wallpaper or unpainted brick as well as it does to other surfaces; the underlying texture of the wall can show through. In this case, we recommend a framed instead. We offer smaller prints that fit commonly available frame sizes. Before purchasing, always check with your loved one’s residence to see if there are restrictions for framing and hardware.

How do I ensure high quality pictures for my collage?

If working with digital photos, pick images that are in-focus and high resolution. Do not compress the files.

For print photos, choose pictures that are clear and free of creasing, fading, or tearing. When scanning, set your dpi between 300 and 600; do not edit or compress your files. To learn more about digitizing your photos, read our detailed guide.

Are Reminisart collages only for seniors living in care?

No! While our collages offer a wealth of benefits for seniors in care, a Reminisart collage is a wonderful gift for a young adult living in a dorm, a friend or relative that’s far away, or a caregiver who would love some extra appreciation.
